Neil Armstrong Speech at the White House
On July the 20th of 1994, Neil Armstrong spoke on the White House during a ceremony commemorating the Apollo 11 mission. This short clip shows the first man that allegedly first set foot on the Moon talking in a rather emotional and cryptic way.
Is Armstrong trying to tell us something he's not supposed to?

No. The meaning he intended, is up front. No subrosa meanings. He's trying to inspire young people as to the wonders of discovery. Why believe a reference to truth having layers, automatically could mean reference to a coverup? Truth does have layers we must uncover, and not just the conspiracies, many of which are real, but not the one you're referring to.

His comments were cryptic and emotional.
It's not like someone just heard him say this and their imagination went wild - it's in the context of what a lot of his contemporaries have said.
Some of those guys, when they are being honest and really getting down to it. will tell you that they remember trvelling to the moon and they know they were there but when they try to remember and recall the experience exactly they cannot.
When you put what he says next to statements from the other astronauts, statements that he has supposedly made off of the record to others - and the fact that he just wont appear publically much then I think it's pretty clear that there is something strange going on.

just as your body has an outer layer and and inner being.
the truth of a person is not expresed by their outer description but by their inner thought.
I think its very obvious what he meant. Aliens were and ARE on the moon. Remember, these people must be diplomatic at all times. He cannot just come out and say what he knows. This man, along with others in his field are sworn to uphold national security.
No wonder they talk in riddles.
How heavy their hearts, that the secret must stay just that...for now.
i'd say that "...breakthroughs available to those who can remove one of truth's protective layers" is not the kind of statement anyone else could have made except armstrong, or, the 1969 moon traveler. clearly, he's inviting the nexgen to investigate his 1969 adventure and uncover the reality to one and all.
but why uncover when he's gone to the moon? why should anyone investigate the moon landings? was it staged? was it a movie set act?

I interprit this to mean that he is aware that their are certain advances/ideas which exist that are not currently available or understood publicly due to them being kept a secret by either a lie or suppression/bending of the truth... As we all know one of the best ways to hide the truth is to lie about it. However the most effective lies are those with a little of the truth added.
An example: During the 1980's the CIA openly encouraged the American public to associate flying saucers with being something that was of an 'Alien' origin. This is not a lie depending on how you interprit the statement.
1) A visitor from outer space could be considered Alien
2) A visitor from another country could also be considered Alien
EVERYONE LISTEN this is important. What he meant by remove protective layer is to remove the reaction of fear that will result in the majority population. If it is apparent that a full scale disclosure at worst will result in a reaction of no fear and panic and no real good information or ideas from the public to deal with the issue,then a full scale disclosure would occur per AMERICA 'S policy.
Take note that when fear is absent in an individual the highest potential for contemplation is experienced by that individual. This being said, in the before mentioned scenario, it would almost be a certainty that the public would produce a viable option to deal with the issue. This fact would support AMERICA 'S policy in this instance and expedite the disclosure. I am Duce
